In terms of costing, some of the pans are said to cost Kshs14 million and another one is Kshs13 million, particularly in Karare and Dirib-dimtu in Marsabit District. I have done water pans, myself, as a CEO of a local Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), and I know that the average cost of a pan is about Kshs6 million.
