    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, all these hon. Members sitting here will tell you that, in the last 12 months, a police officer has committed a crime against a citizen and has not been prosecuted. That is happening all over this country. The assertion by hon. Imanyara is that the cases are ever-increasing. That is true and very alarming. My plea to the Attorney-General and a question to him is: Could he commit himself to this House and this country that any police officer involved or suspected to be involved in any criminal offence and, particularly, those that involve the use of firearms, will immediately step aside in order to facilitate investigations?
