    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, the Assistant Minister has assured this House that the Ministry is doing everything to ensure that there is food security in this country, particularly through importation of cereals. It is in the public domain that local farmers feel threatened, particularly by the importation of maize, wheat and rice. It is also on record that wheat farmers in Narok, for instance, are already complaining that they are receiving very little from their wheat sales. What measures is the Ministry putting in place to ensure that local farmers are first and foremost very motivated, and not threatened by the importation of these commodities, so that they can continue supplying Kenyans with food?"
