    "content": "(b) The disparities in the salaries of teachers vis-a-vis those for other Government employees is one contributing factor, amongst others, that causes the movement of teachers to other sectors. The fact that employers in other sectors are attracted to teachers is a strength and not a weakness of the teaching profession. (c) The Ministry has constituted the Teachers Service Remuneration Committee to review teachers remuneration, and that process is ongoing. The teachers union has already presented their memorandum to that Committee. Teachers who transfer services to other sectors are replaced immediately they leave. Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir."
