    "content": " Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I beg to reply. (a) Repair of most of the roads in Lolan was undertaken and completed in accordance with the plan of the Constituency Roads Committee (CRC). However, some delays were experienced due to the long distances for haulage of gravel materials as well as the rains. (b) The contract for repair of Kapsangar-Sekuton Road was awarded in March, 2011, and as at June, 2011, money spent and the completed works was valued at Kshs476,000. The repair works are still ongoing. (c) Allocation of more funds on the roads is the prerogative of the CRC and the Ministry will carry out additional works commensurate with the additional allocation from the CRC. However, during this financial year a total of Kshs3,080,000 has been budgeted by the CRC for the same road."
