    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I would like to state one or two facts regarding the section of the road in question. The section of the road in question is within the municipality, as the hon. Member mentioned. It has, actually, volcanic soil. So when it rains, it becomes very difficult for the vehicles to pass. However, it is part of the road that I mentioned, C92, and funds have been committed for its improvement to bitumen standards up to the section that is just before that. As soon as funds are available, we will be able to consider that section for improvement to bitumen standards. Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, however, like I said, we have allocated money for maintenance of that section of the road which is within the municipality and has a very high traffic. But, in the long-term, I think it will be important, as a Ministry, and we are committed to ensuring July 1, 2008 PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES 1483 that, that road is indeed improved to reflect its importance within the district."
