What this means, if it is true that the Farmers Choice has taken over the Uplands Bacon Factory, is that we have sanctioned a monopoly in this country. These farmers are suffering, and we should hear a more affirmative answer. Even if it is going to be sold, even to the local co-operatives, that is okay, but we should not strengthen a monopoly."
