"content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I would be very glad to give him a copy of the cheque. I will give him the copy after this. On behalf of Nairobi City Council, I must really apologise. It is sad when employees are not paid their dues when they retire and they pass away, only for the beneficiaries also not to be paid in good time. I know there must be several similar cases. We have instructed the City Council of Nairobi to immediately pay all the beneficiaries of deceased persons. Secondly, they should pay all the retirees who are sick because we do not want them to die before they have enjoyed their terminal dues. Thereafter, all the employees who will retire will be paid their dues promptly."
