"content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, Yatta Canal is 60 kilometres long. It is, perhaps, the longest canal in the country. When Ms. Martha Karua was in charge of the Ministry of Water and Irrigation, she was able to solve the problem at that time. For a period of three years, we have had no water shortage in the town. But God only knows what happened when she left the Ministry. Could the Assistant Minister inform the House when Yatta Dam will be constructed? Has his Ministry provided any money for its construction in this Budget?"
