    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. The reason why I am moving these amendments is because apart from the post 2007 crisis, there are some areas in this country that were hard-hit with drought. There are so many areas like North Eastern, parts of Coast Province and other Arid and Semi-Arid Lands (ASALs) that were hard-hit by drought, and the farmers took loans from the AFC and the ADC. These farmers will not be able to service their loans because the yields will not be as they expected. So, I request the House to consider amending this Motion to incorporate those areas that were affected by drought. Thank you very much Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I beg to move the amendment."
