I equally urge Members of the Committee to stand firm and discharge their mandate fully knowing that the appointment, first of May 6, 2008 PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES 835 all, is by the people of Kenya. Those who feel sceptical about the capacity of my Committee to watchdog over the State Corporations on behalf of this august House are invited to audit the Committee's work from time to time. We have an excellent foundation laid by the Committee of the last Parliament and we intend to continue with the good work. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I am pleading for your protection. Thank you."
