    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, the enactment of this Bill into law will provide the public with an independent redress mechanism for their complaints against the police. The law will also enhance public confidence and trust in the police as it will clear the police from the public perception that they are impartial on matters relating to complaints against their own. The police will also benefit from this law as it will guard them against frivolous complaints."
