    "content": "Indeed, I am aware, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I agree with the hon. Member that, as a Government, we did not act in time to participate meaningfully in assisting our farmers to get the correct fertilizer to plant. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I want to inform the hon. Member, who represents farmers just like I do that, that notwithstanding, the fertilizer we are bringing in--- We are bringing in about 150,000 bags of fertilizer. It will not be in vain because I am anticipating the short rains in other parts of the country. We need to assist farmers in those other parts from June and July. Secondly, I am making arrangements to make sure we do not have another fertilizer crisis next year. I appreciate that, indeed, we have not lived up to the expectations of the people because of the complications of the issues we had earlier this year. I want to assure the hon. Member that we are going out of our way, and my Ministry, in conjunction with the Ministry of Finance, is making adequate arrangements, so that we solve this fertilizer puzzle once and for all."
