In fact, in view of April 29, 2008 PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES 739 what has happened, I think it would be a good idea to inform, particularly the new hon. Members, that there is nothing to be gained by raising the issue of quorum in the House. It only embarrasses everybody. Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, our Standing Orders require that even if the law is passed by one person, that law is valid. Therefore, it is pointless!"
