(a) Is the Minister aware that as a result of the recent political turmoil in the country, the prices of farm inputs, especially fertilizer have shot up astronomically and farmers are unable to prepare for the current planting season? (b) What rescue package has the Government put in place to assist farmers and to avoid imminent famine and food shortage?"
