    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I am surprised when I meet some of my colleagues who tell me that in their one constituency, they have two districts! So, he does not know which District Development Committee (DDC) to attend! Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I think that a majority of all great nations rise from the ashes. There is America with the American Civil War. The Europeans with their wars-- Maybe, what we went through, as much as we would not have liked it to happen to us, has been an awakening call to make Kenya the hub of business, political realizations or a showcase for Africa for political maturity. I am sure it was not easy for the leaders to come together. We do not want hypocritical 384 PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES March 25, 2008 leaders any more. We want leaders who stand for the interests of their people! We do not want leaders who stand for their selfish gains. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, with all that, I beg to support. Thank you."
