    "content": "On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. Last week, I requested for a Ministerial Statement from the Ministry of Local Government in regard to the crisis in the transport sector, especially in the Eastlands of Nairobi City. The Leader of Government Business promised that the Statement would be given to this House. To date, that Statement has not been given to this House. I was just wondering whether the Minister for Local Government is still waiting for an opportunity to either resolve the problem or to come and explain to this House what he is doing about the problem. As we sit here, the residents of Eastlands are still going through a lot of problems, especially in the morning and in the evening when they have to go back to their homes. School children are very inconvenienced at this point in time. 310 I would like the Chair to order the Minister for Local Government to come and inform Parliament what he is doing about the crisis."
