If there are mistakes that have been made, we should not compound the same mistakes through this House because this is the supreme legislative organ. In terms of the doctrine of separation of powers, there is nothing more supreme than this House. If we start the Tenth Parliament on the wrong footing, I fear we are setting this country on the wrong footing."
