    "content": "The Clerk explained that the procedure for the election of the Deputy Speaker was the same as that for the election of the Speaker. He also announced he had issued and received back nomination papers for the Office of Deputy Speaker from hon. Gitobu Imanyara and hon. Maalim Farah. He requested that His Excellency the President be issued with a ballot paper so that the voting could move and thereafter the exercise continue under the guidance of Mr. Speaker."
