If there are Standing Orders that we do not like, if we think that the Oath of Allegiance is defective, it is within our powers once we are sworn in as hon. Members to change the law; the Constitution, if we like, and the Standing Orders, but we cannot, through a point of order, change even the Oath of Allegiance as it is."
