    "content": "I have also considered a contention which was ably articulated by Mr. Mutula Kilonzo with respect to the legislative authority of Parliament which, again, by express provision is not in doubt. Under Section 30 of our Constitution, it is clear that the legislative power of the Republic shall vest in the Parliament of Kenya, which shall consist of the President and the National Assembly, but that is as much as one can say and comment on the constitutional provisions. Perhaps, some of the matters that have been canvassed with respect as to whether or not, in fact, there is inconsistency between the Oath and the provisions of the Constitution, are matters that this House should flag and be prepared to deal with."
