Members tonight is provided for in an Act of Parliament, namely, the Promissory Oaths Act, which is Chapter 100 of the Laws of Kenya. You will bear with me hon. Members. Note that the commencement date for that Act was 19th August, 1958. This House has, therefore, lived with that piece of statute all those years. Among other things, in Section 2, the Act provides as follows:-"
