"content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, Clause 26 relates to the appointment of occupational safety health officers. In addition to what the Minister has said, the new proviso says:- \"No person shall be appointed under Subsection (1) unless that person is the holder of a degree in science, medicine, engineering, chemistry, physics, biochemistry, nursing, zoology, computer science, occupational safety and health or industrial hygiene;\" Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir would that not be discriminatory against those who have other degrees like environmental sciences? Those are sciences. That appears to discriminate against other people who may well be qualified to be appointed as such officers. What does the Minister say about that?"
