A person who- (a) subjects or threatens to subject another person to any detriment because the other person, or a person associated with the other person- (i) has made a complaint against any person; (ii) has brought any other proceedings under this Part against any person; (iii) has given evidence or information, or produced a document, in connection with any proceedings under Part; (iv) has otherwise done anything in accordance with this Part in relation to any person; (v) has alleged that any person has contravened a provision of this Part, unless the allegation is false and was not made in good faith; or (vi) has refused to do anything that would contravene a provision of this Part; or (b)hinders or obstructs a member or members of staff of the Board or the Board in the exercise of powers or the performance of functions under this Part; (c)uses insulting language towards a member or member of staff of the Board when the member is exercising powers or performing functions under this Part; or (d)gives any information or makes any statement to the Board or a person acting on behalf of the Board or in the exercise of powers or the performance of functions under this Part which the person knows is false or misleading in any material particular commits an offence and is liable to a fine of two hundred thousand shillings or to imprisonment for a term of twelve months or to both.
