    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I seek your clarification on this issue. It is at the Speaker's prompting by this Committee and hon. Members that you ordered for the publication or the Minister to bring the list of the nominees. I sit in that Committee and the Minister has been complaining that the Committee has not been performing its work both in and out of this House. Today, you have said that the Committee never consulted the Minister. As a Member of that Committee, I say that we have deliberated on those issues and the Minister himself never even sent a memorandum as to what criteria he used. The Committee in its own wisdom, did its best to try and make those recommendations before this House. The position that the Committee did not take the correct position by not consulting the Minister is absolutely wrong."
