"content": " Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, I beg to move:- THAT, the Bill be amended by deleting Clause 63 and replacing it with the following new clause - Amendment of 63. Section 156 of Section 156 the Insurance Act 156 is of Cap.487. amended by deleting Subsection (2). Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, the effect of my amendment is to delete the current Clause 63, but I am actually deleting the specific section, that is Subsection 2, which introduces the 60 days period. This was after an agreement with the Committee. I believe hon. Kajwang's proposal is seeking to achieve the same effect only that he is proposing that we delete the entire clause. I am, however, proposing the deletion of the offending bit. This will now leave the business of cash and carry to be a discussion between the insurance provider and the brokers rather than us regulating it through the law. That is the agreement that we had with the Committee."
