Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, education is deemed to be one of the most important pillars in fighting poverty. To the extent that there is inequity in resource allocation in this country, and inequitable distribution of resources in the education area, what we are doing is not only failing to fight poverty, but we are actually increasing the gap between the rich and the poor. We are actually increasing inequality in the various regions of this country. This Motion is very important because it addresses those core problems of inequitable distribution of resources.
