"content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, cases of conflict between wildlife and human beings 4176 PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES September 26, 2007 are rampant in Kenya. In my own constituency, we have rogue hippopotamus trampling upon individuals on farms and moving even as far as ten kilometres inland. The Vice-President and Minister for Home Affairs even knows about it because he has the same kind of problem in his constituency. What policy does the Government have to ensure that we end this conflict completely? These animals, including the baboons, cannot be arrested and put in prisons. What policy can help us manage this conflict permanently?"
