    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the primary purpose of that amendment was to empower the more than one million sugar-cane farmers, who feel neglected in comparison to other farmers. It has taken so long since my very good friend handed this Bill over to the Minister. Now they are telling me about 1st, October, 2007, and I am not sure whether this Parliament will still be sitting by then. Could the Assistant Minister tell us whether they are going to accelerate this process so that, in fact, the Bill can become an Act by the time the House is dissolved?"
