    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 3(a) of the Bill be amended by deleting the definition of the term \"employee\" and substituting therefor the following new definition- \"employee\" means a person who has been employed for wages or salary and includes apprentice or indentured learner\"; Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, my Committee brought this amendment because in September 20, 2007 PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES 4071 the Bill, an \"employee\" means an employee as defined in the Labour Relations Act. We do not have a Labour Relations Act. Therefore, we cannot make reference to an Act which is non-existent. That is why I have brought in a definition of an \"employee\"."
