    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, I just want to elaborate on the point that hon. Odoyo has raised. There are various other service commissions which are not affected, for example, under the Armed Forces Act. They include the Public Service Commission and the Teachers Service Commission. These service commissions allow for trade unions. Therefore, if we 4086 PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES September 20, 2007 delete this clause, we will be doing a disservice to those who are serving under the other service commissions. So, if the Minister had in mind, specifically, that this does not apply to those employed under the Armed Forces Act, so be it. But we should allow those employed under those other service commissions to be embraced by the provisions of this proposed amendment."
