(a) Is the Minister aware that personnel from the National Water Conservation and Pipeline Corporation sent to sink a borehole to supply water to Hara Trading Centre in Ijara District were recently evicted from a site near the Tana River? (b) What steps is the Minister taking to ensure that the trading centre is supplied with water and diffuse simmering tensions between the residents of Ijara and Tana River Districts over the control of the resource?"
