"content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I am, indeed, very happy that the Government has now come out very clearly and stated that the water of Tana River does not belong to any community, nor does it belong to Mt. Kenya where it flows from. It is water for the country and, therefore, a natural resource. I would like the Assistant Minister to confirm that all the trading centres in Ijara District, including Bura, which is along Tana River, Masabubu, Masalani, Kochile, Hera and Korisa will be allowed to draw water from Tana River for the consumption of the local people."
