    "content": " Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, I beg to move:- THAT, the provisions relating to the Public Officer Ethics Act, be amended by deleting the proposed amendment to Section 2 and substituting therefor the following- s.2 Insert the following proviso at the end of paragraph (e) of the definition of \"public officer\"- Provided that this Act shall apply to an officer of a co-operative society within the meaning of that Act. (k) by inserting the following new amendments in proper numerical sequence- Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, the purpose of this amendment is to make clear that officers in co-operative societies are covered under the Public Officer Ethics Act but it does not apply to people who have been voted in, in the management committees but only to people who work in the co-operative societies. It came from the Ministry of Co-operative Development."
