Mr. Temporary Chairman, Sir, the Section reads:- \"The Minister may, whenever necessary, by notice in the Kenya Gazette, appoint and assign functions to a public body or suitably qualified person to verify the declaration forms.\" Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, now that we have removed the responsibility of the Minister looking at the forms, we cannot have the Minister assigning that function to somebody or a body that he thinks is suitable. So, we feel this Section should be deleted."
