    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, I beg to move:- THAT, Section 170 be deleted. Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, I took the opportunity to go through this Bill to seek to expunge from our laws some obnoxious provision in the laws. My amendment is seeking to delete Section 170 of the Penal Code, which provides as follows:- \"Any person who wilfully and by fraud causes any woman who is not lawfully married to him to believe that she is lawfully married to him and to cohabit or have sexual intercourse with him in that belief is guilty of a felony and is liable to imprisonment for a term of ten years.\""
