    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, yes, the Bill did not have that clause at that time. However, it had even worse offending clauses in its original form as approved by the Cabinet which was advised by the Attorney-General. There had to be some negotiations with the Media Owners Association (MOA) to amend it. So, I am happy that after a lot of pressure has been applied by the civil society, and Kenyans in general, the President eventually yielded to the pressure and has agreed to the removal and rejection of that clause!"
