    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I stand on a point of order to ask for a Ministerial Statement from the Minister for Roads and Public Works. On 10th August, 2007, the Ministry advertised tenders for the construction of seven roads across the country. One of those roads is the Mariakani-Kilifi Road C107. On Monday, 20th August, 2007, a notice was carried in the newspapers cancelling the tender in respect of that particular road, while saying nothing about the other six roads. I would like the Minister to tell this House the following:- (i) Why was the tender cancelled? (ii) Whether the cancellation is temporary or permanent. If it is temporary, when is the tender going to be re-advertised?"
