    "content": "Yes, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, thank you for giving me this opportunity to give an Official Opposition response. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, as I begin my contribution, I wish to draw the Minister's and the Attorney-General's attention to page 1371 of the Bill where there is, within the Memorandum of Objects and Reasons, an Act of Parliament, the States Corporations Act, Chapter 446 of the Laws of Kenya. It is explained:- \"The Bill proposes to amend the State Corporations Act to exempt corporations with private sector participation, from the provisions of the Act\". I want the Minister and the Attorney-General to note that, in the main Bill, there is no such proposal. Therefore, I hope that in the Memorandum of Objects and Reasons, it is not, therefore, proposed to sneak in an amendment that we will not discuss. I am happy that they acknowledge the mistake of their offices."
