    "content": " Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, I beg to reply. (a) The amount of money allocated for the construction of the new market was Kshs16 million. (b) The tender was awarded on 8th December, 2005, to Gilbraltor Contractors Company Limited. The contractor delivered the material to the site but failed to proceed with the works without giving valid reasons. He has failed to carry out the works. The Ministry gave notice of termination of the contract and the same has been terminated. (c) The market will be redesigned and re-tendered afresh."
