"content": "On a point of order, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. I think the Assistant Minister is not aware of what is taking place in his own Ministry. An agreement was signed on 7th April, 2006. The Head of the Public Service and Secretary to the Cabinet, Ambassador Muthaura, wrote a letter to his Permanent Secretary, asking him about the lease of April. That was on July, 20th. I have tabled documents. Let the Assistant Minister also table what he purports to have cancelled; the lease agreement of April. That is because within the agreement, it is stated that the lease would be just Kshs13.40 per acre for 30,000 acres. He does not know what he is talking about."
