Up to now, the Judiciary has been clamouring to have separate accounts, so that the law courts can be withdrawing money directly from the Consolidated Fund. As the hon. Member has correctly pointed out, the law courts should be able to secure the money that they raise and use it for the purposes that they want. However, this is not yet the case in law. 3054 PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES August 8, 2007 In regard to the hon. Member's request, this is going to go in accordance with the available budget and this is part of the budget. We hope that what has been allocated now should be enough to complete the project. However, the money will be spread over, so that the works are in progress. We cannot complete the project the way he would probably want to envisage."
