Member is aware, the Government has a three-year programme to connect all markets, secondary schools and public institutions in all the constituencies in this country to electricity by the year 2010. This programme is going on well and we have connected the following institutions to electricity in Bumula Constituency: Maranga Secondary School and Health Centre, Lugulu Secondary School, Bulemia, Sikalila, Bwaliro and Kanjara Markets. We would like to connect to electricity other markets and secondary schools in this constituency, but we do not have sufficient funds to connect all of them during this financial year. However, we shall do our best."
