First and foremost, I want to thank and congratulate the Minister in charge of roads for the slight improvements that some of us have realised in their areas. We cannot say that they are major improvements because if you look at the roads that were considered, you will see that, in fact, they are not in West Pokot. In West Pokot, there are some areas which, since God created this world, have not seen a road at all. Yet, we have officers who are in charge of those facilities. They do not plan for those areas. Otherwise, some of us are now standing here to rubber stamp or to support other places and yet, our places have nothing! Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, lastly, even when they speak about construction of District Commissioners offices--- West Pokot District still uses the Mzungus house as a DC's office. I wish to appeal to the Minister that, as he plans for this year and in future, let him consider those areas. Thank you."
