    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, first, I must say that a policy is never pegged on a parliamentary term. Once formulated, a policy can be implemented for even 50 years. So, that is for the information of my good friend, Mr. Muriithi. I have been giving this answer consistently because we have to be honest in this House. I gave the same answer to Mr. Ndambuki. Today, I am giving the same answer, because I am honest. We will try to persuade the Treasury to improve on the amounts being given to members of these committees. I hope that the Treasury will respond positively. So, we will keep on pursuing the matter until we succeed."
