This is a situation where we run the risk of deliberate scandalising of certain people in order to sell. This is a situation where we have people who cannot defend themselves being put into a situation such as that the hon. Vice-President and Minister for Home Affairs was talking about. It is just because we want to create excitement around our media in order to increase sales. We want to increase the advertising revenue which is based on the number of sales or the viewership or the listenership. This is immoral. However, it is important that for the media to be objective and truly do their job, they must not be controlled by the Government."
