    "content": "We have also been complaining about the cost of electricity. As a result of the shortage that I am talking about, we have been forced to bring back about 60 megawatts of emergency power. This is going to raise electricity tariffs again, but once we implement the new power projects, for instance the Kindaruma Power Project, we will generate electricity which will cost us only Kshs4 per kilowatt hour. The electricity we generate from diesel costs us Kshs15 per kilowatt hour. The electricity generated from geothermal will be Kshs4.50 per kilowatt hour. So, this will considerably bring down the cost of electricity once these projects are operational."
