(a) The Inter-Ministerial Taskforce established to look into the status of Miwani Sugar Company and Muhoroni Sugar Company found that both companies were insolvent. There were six recommendations on Miwani Sugar Company and two on Muhoroni Sugar Company, which are part of the Report I will table. All these recommendations have either been implemented or overtaken by actions the Government has taken to revive and divest from Muhoroni and Miwani Sugar Companies, respectively. (b) I do, hereby, wish to table the reports."
