Sometime last year, the KTDA placed an order for a machine and I have a letter to that effect, which I want to table before the House. The machine which was quoted by the KTDA to the seller was going for Kshs8.49 million, excluding the Value Added Tax (VAT). If you add VAT, it adds up to Kshs10 million.
