(a) The borehole at Nduru Primary School was drilled and equipped by the National Water Conservation and Pipeline Corporation at a cost of Kshs1,114,200. (b) The borehole was repaired by my Ministry through the National Water Conservation 1856 PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES June 19, 2007 and Pipeline Corporation and it is currently operational and serving the community and the school. The project was undertaken by the National Water Conservation and Pipeline Corporation and no contractor was involved. (c) As earlier stated, the borehole is operational."
